Artist's Description
This is a commission for the Karn family of Ohio who vacationed in Maui in 2011.

About Frances Ku
Frances has been drawing since three years of age. Born in Taiwan and raised in Okinawa, she took art classes throughout high school and went to Parsons School of Design in New York City for a year. Watercoloring for her has been a lesson in respecting the element of water and being a co-creating partner to the dance. Watercolor's challenges taught her important lessons about painting and life: to let go of control, be open to surprises, and appreciate the magic moment. And only by experimenting and pushing...
